Restaurants have issues with blocked drains due to grease and other kitchen fluids all the time. Nothing works better for restaurants than cleaning with a high pressure water jetter.

Large diameter pipe cleaning with only 18 gpm

Is it possible to clean large diameter pipes with a high pressure low volume jetting unit? The answer is yes if you have the right nozzle for the job. The example below is a road culvert filled with dirt and rocks. This was 24 inch pipe about 60 ft long that was cleaned using the USJ Dragon jet. This nozzle is especially designed to fire all the jets at the bottom of the pipe. Two straight jets to remove the heavy material and two fan jets to sweep the pipe do an excellent job.

Removing lime scale and calcium build-up in pipes is possible thanks to rotary nozzles such as this one. In the pictures above, you can see the pipe shape before, during and after the jetting job. A controlled rotation nozzle is the answer in this situation running at 10,000 psi .
