Chain Flail Nozzles

Water powered Chain Flail Nozzles or Chain Scrapers are effective nozzle for removing mineral scale, hard grease deposits or rust buildup within pipes. With multiple chain sets for use within different size pipe diameters can be installed on the base of the rotating collar. High pressure water is used to spin the nozzle, lubricate the bearing, clean debris from the chains and to provide propulsion.

High speed spinning chains utilizing centrifugal force provide impact power to remove all types of buildup within pipes. Repetitive spinning of chain erodes away at the buildup until the full extended length of the chains are reached.

Chain Flail Nozzles were not designed to open clogged pipelines. Chain Flail Nozzles were designed to remove leftover debris that high pressure water jetting could not remove.

Chain Flail Nozzles are available for use with various brands of high pressure jetting equipment with high pressure jetting hose connection diameters from 1" to 1/4". Pressure and flow requirements vary, please contact US Jetting Parts department for details.

Mini Chain Scrapers are available for use within 3 and 4 inch diameter pipes. Mini Chain Scrapers can be powered with 1/4" or 3/8" diameter high pressure jetting hose.

This assembly keeps the nozzle centralized & stable within large diameter pipes. Elevation of the Chain Flail Nozzle reduces bearing drag for optimum rotation speed.
