Footage Counter

Footage Counter gives an estimated range of how far your hose is extended and your nozzle is in the pipe, but should not be relied upon for 100% accuracy. It are especially recommended for long runs as well as lateral work applications to help indicate when you have entered the city sewer.

There are two types of footage counters based on the age of the jetting reel. For reels built July 2019 and earlier, it is required to have an upgraded hydraulic motor bracket for proper mounting of the footage counter. This bracket is included in the J-428-V-ASSY kit. All other components within the two kits are identical. 

NOTE: Footage Counter gives an estimated range, but should not be relied upon for 100% accuracy. Since the footage indicator is mounted to the reel it can only calculate how much hose has been dispensed but the farther the hose is out the more it dispenses on each revolution of the reel.
